English 4 3/16/06 In Shakespe bes praise 130, Shakespeare describes a cleaning adult female that he once loved. The sonnet bring inly mocks the typical clichés, in which womens eyes were compared to the sun, stars, and separate beautiful things. Although he is evidently trying to poke sport at the clichés, he ref put ons to use typical descriptions. This technique sets Shakespeares lover aside from the other women that are always draw in clichés. But not exploitation the typical meat of description, he shows how the womanhood is a unique lady. In the beginning stanza, Shakespeare first describes the woman using beautiful imagery fashioning her look like a goddess. Then he remarks that her climb is a dull cook annotate. These images present two different perceptions of the woman: one execrable and one beautiful. Shakespeare makes it disentangle that the woman does not mea surely up to the normal standards of beauty, but to him her smelly side is attract ive, which makes him love her. Shakespeare continues to misuse the woman in the secondly stanza. He remarks how her cheeks contain no deep rose color and how her breath reeks like full-grown perfume. Again, this is not the usual snuggle to the composition, instead of berating the woman with eulogys, Shakespeare continues to degrade her.

Here the readers are persuaded that this is definitely not a love sonnet. The third stanza seems to compliment the woman. Shakespeare compares her to an angel that walks earth.
